@anbu_b_team awesome you use the tablet. is it a wacom? how much did you spend if you dont mind me asking? im very interested in one. just because i know it would make my whole process easier and id be able to really step it up. and thanks for the feedback, it means alot. im def trying to have it look gritty. like polished but still sketchy at the same time.
@anbu_b_team the character designs are drawn the old fashioned way with pencil to paper, sometimes i ink them. i dont have a scanner to use to get them on the computer and i dont want to use the copy room at work and get caught. So i just try my best to get a clean photograph of the sketch and then i upload it and try to turn it into a vector. Talk about waisted time and lost quality to all the work, but thats what it is for now. I use the mouse from there on, so any coloring and effects and anything else that isnt just the pencil i use a mouse. its a horrible way to work, and its the reason that these pieces come out so crude for the time being. i wish so badly i had the wacom tablet. or somthing similar
nice work on both of these. the first i do enjoy more from a comic art aspect. the second one is lacking the mass, but either way great job on both of these. you can see you are more confident in letting the lines do the work for itself in the second draft. keep it up!
@arturocalakayvee@ulti19 thanks a whole lot. i posted some more newer concepts up in this thread enjoy! @redscare thanks alot, yeah gimp seems to have everything i need, the hard part and annoying aspect is using the mouse. ive been looing at the wacom drawing tablet. i feel its a challenge im up too with the new technology for artwork. i feel itll speed up the process and increase my output.
