Okay I was never to crazy about the Ghost in the Shell movies all be it that they were good. Stand Alone Complex has my heart thought. I mean it one of the few animes that had a plot. You didnt mind learning about the characters. The animation was flawless. The characters were all likable even the Tachikomas who i adore. I cant fathom a live production of this being made even though the thought crossed my mind. I mean who would play the Major or Director Aramaki. They should stick with the cartoons and leave it alone.
As long as he sticks more the the comic books and doesnt change what some of the mutants can do. Like Storm never flew in X-1 or X-2. We had the wait for X-3 for that to happen.
Vemon when he was the anti-hero was great. How him and spiderman were always arguing like a couple of bitter married couple was pretty funny. I would enjoy seeing a Maximum Carnage movie.
The problem is that producers and directors have a bad habit of changing what is already gold. The first two batman movies were genius. Tim Burton definitely had the image of batman down. After that the batman movies got more flashy and colorful. Needless to say thats not batman. Now with Batman Begins and the Dark Knight they have once again captured the essence of batman though is voice needs some work. All DC is saying is that they want the movie to be a little more inclusive to the DC universe probably so they can make movies like Justice League, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, without having to do a separate story line. Cause when you think about it all the character in DC are connected some how or another. They want to avoid comic book butchery like the studios butchered X-Men and Spider-Man.
