    Maybe I haven't read this volume of House of M, but where is he? Cloak said there was no body there, is he actually dead? Will we ever know?

    I believe Scarlet Witch used him to stabilize her own powers and create the House of M, as Pietro suggested she might do.

    Pietro: "What if I was there to help you? You and I together. Xavier's mind inside you, your powers as they are now. You can use his powers and yours together. Really--there's nothing you can't do."
