Employing his brilliant mind to avoid dying at all cost. He created Amazo, to capture super humans and drain their powers and try to duplicate them. His ultimate achievement was his immortality serum which allows him to live forever but at the cost of becoming deformed. All his efforts to find a cure for his deformation have resulted in restoring his mortality.
