Creation

Professor Insidd was created by Geoff Johns and Doug Mahnke and debuted in issue #4 of the new Green Lantern series.

Major Story Arcs

Green Lantern

Professor Insidd was tasked with torturing Sinestro and attempt to remove his Green Ring. During this process he was the first to bring Sinestro to scream in pain. He promises Sinestro that he will free him of this emerald prison even if it means removing his hand. After Sinestro's will proves to be too strong, Insidd turns his attention towards the Lantern itself. If Insidd is successful in depowering the Lantern he will be able to defeat Sinestro and whoever does that will lead the Sinestro Corp. While imprisoned, Sinestro is able to remotely activate the Lantern and fires a beam straight through Insidd, blowing him to pieces.
