I remember they said somewhere that Prodigy would play a big role in the future of mankind but he's kinda been afk since getting revived after the Belasco thing. What could this role possibly be?
I still think it's strange that after the Quest for Magik, David was to be a back-up trainer/substitute teacher for the other New X-Men but all those plans disappeared immediately because of Messiah CompleX.
I've been coming up with a list of all the combined skills David has absorbed just passively and I don't think he can ever get repowered. He has the combined knowledge of Beast, Kitty Pride, and Xavier. He has the combined martial skills of Wolverine, Shadowcat, Bishop, Cyclops, X-23, etc etc. He has the combined business skills of Iceman(accounting), Angel, and Emma Frost. The thief skills of Gambit and Storm. The leadership and tactical skills of Cyclops, Storm, Xavier, Emma Frost, Bishop, etc..etc. And this is a third of my list, If Hope really does come back, brings back the x-gene, and repowers everyone, He just may become the one of the most vital members of the X-men. Or they'll just kill him.
the only thing i know about this dude is that (I think its this guy) the costume was in Spiderman 2: Enter Electro on the PS1used to use it sometimes because i thought it was kinda funky
Prodigy has a lot of skills comparable to a Super-Spy, but he goes unused. I would really like to see him in action and return to powers (his old ones or otherwise)!
Looks like they don't care much about depowered mutants. A bus full of ex-students blown up, some of them joined a new incarnation of New Warriors (and half of them was killed), some killed by Purifiers. I half-expected Prodigy to die too, but they chose the worse way to deal with him - forget about his existence.
I think i saw him on the teaser for Rogue's Gold Team promo and he was also featured in Gen Hope #10 (which doesn't exactly mean anything but still, i haven't exactly seen much of the other Academy X students except for PIXIE) so hopefully we'll be seeing more of him.
