I'm a moron for not reading this ten years ago
I had no clue what the hype was about. People would say to me, "You have to read Preacher." I'd ask why and they'd always reply, "It's awesome." Wow, thanks for the reason. I picked up the first trade and read the first couple of issues and I must say this book, at least so far, is nothing short of phenomenal. There's nothing about it I don't like and it's been a while since I read something from Ennis where I didn't think he went "over-the-top". I'm incredibly excited to see where this will go and haven't been this excited about a book since I read the first issue of Y: The Last Man. I can now say, a person who loves comics who hasn't started reading this is insane.
