Good kids should have more comics geared towards them and I always thought Powerpuff Girls were a good one.

Are the old ones any good? I never had the comic books.

Very true. This seems like a good way to get some more child-friendly superhero action out there, much like the cartoon was. :)

If it turns out to be good, I wonder if they'll make it into an ongoing.

@bumpyboo: Cool. I'm looking forward to the TPB a little more now. :)

I wonder if they're planning on collecting more old issues. The fact that this one is called Volume 1 makes me think they will.

@v_scarlotte_rose: Definitely, there would be no need to number them if they were only planning to release one. Good point, I didn't think of that ;)

@bumpyboo: It might take a while to release them all. I think there's about 70 issues of their main series.

Hi. Just bumping this to remind you all that the series starts next Wednesday. And also to post some solicits for issues.

    Powerpuff Girls #2 (of 6)
    Troy Little (w & a & c)
What’s this? Mojo Jojo volunteers to take “Antidote X” to revert back to his former simple simian state? And what’s more, he’s moving in with the Powerpuff Girls? Shirley, you’ve GOT to be kidding me! The next thing you’re going to tell me is that HIM's got his tutu in a knot, and is starting trouble! Oh wait, it looks like he has… just what the heck is going on in Townsville?!

    Powerpuff Girls #3
    Troy Little (w & a & c)
Hooray! It's a ticker tape parade in honor of... The Ex-Villains of Townsville?! Well sir, it looks to me like the former badniks have turned over a new leaf and are eager to help out their fellow citizens! Buttercup remains skeptical, but when a giant sea monster threatens the city, it's a team up no one could have expected! Can it be that there's a new super hero force in town or is there some sinister shenanigans at work behind the scenes?

Wow, Blossom was right; everyone DOES deserve a second chance after all! But WAIT… What’s that sound? Where is that evil laughter coming from? Oh no, something is going very wrong! Powerpuff Girls – HELP!!!

And yeah, releasing the old stuff could be a great way to get some interest in this new series, and potential future series'. I wonder if they'll keep up such a regular schedule.
