• Wears oversized clothes & shoes so nobody notices his build
• Has his hair differently
• Sometimes acts nerdy and/or clumsy
• Slouches to look shorter
• Also, Lex Luthor refuses to believe someone so powerful would masquarade as a mere mortal, and Batman thinks Perry White just chooses not to find out who Superman is out of respect (much like Bats and Commissioner Gordon)
• most of Metropolis only knows Clark Kent as a name on the byline

@amazingwebhead: PIS = Plot Induced Stupidity. The characters become stupid to increase the drama of the plot. Example: When no one could figure out something was wrong with Peter during Superior.

oh, i get it! like that episode of X-Men Evolution where Xavier, Jean, and Logan had all apparently forgotten about the powers they had that could easily tell them the New Mutants were the ones stealing the X-vehicles
