To be honest: Power Girl's breasts distract even me and I'm a girl. O_O

She's got nothing else! Really...she should've just stayed in her own reality. 
 
To take her seriously...sure why not, but if your gonna walk around open topped all the time WHO ISN'T LOOKING! 
 
She's in comics for the more sexy and playful part of being a female with superman's powers. 
 
Ms. Marvel (marvel) I take more seriously than her. I guess if the new Supergirl's skirt has to be panty flash high, cause she's in high school,  then Powergirl's chest must almost bust out. Cause she's simply the eye candy of the group.

OMGosh, this is the funniest thing I've seen today! My take on the 'dilemmas' is that yes, they are a distraction. Supergirl is one of the few who doesn't have them hanging out there all the time. I never got into Power Girl mainly because I didn't want to read a comic that I would be embarrassed to read in public. I don't mind her having 'them,' but Power Girl, if you are going to let them hang out there, don't be surprised when the average male pig isn't going to be looking you in the eye.

uhh what about Black Cat? Her "window" plunges deeper than the grand canyon.  Emma Frost. uhh the multitudes of others. You know what I really love about Power Girl? She doesn't go evil at a drop of a hat.

I think it cheapens the character

Right on. People say PG is a boob joke but PG can take herself seriously and still see the lighter side. They are just boobs, not a disease. People who complain about big boobs need to grow up. A character who can be what she is and take the humor is cool.

her new 52 costume and figure is a shame i hate how most female characters are drawn with medium build male bodies, Amanda Conner's PG and Terra should be the standard of all female characters.

As a leg fan never really bothered me now put her in a pair of thigh high boots now there's something to see.

I think its a right choice to cover up the distractions. Nobody would take her seriously with those.

Her boobs are fine. They shouldn't be nerfed just because people can't handle her. She's a favorite character of mine and I stopped noticing her boobs (at least, when my attention isn't specifically drawn to them) a while ago. Let her be who she is with her boobs intact.

Hey, its not just her. All comic females do this if the artists can get away with it. Susan Storm is one of the few exceptions because she is a mother and fans find it disturbing for her to have a cleavage window.

Her "distractions" are her trademark. lol Taking that away is like taking the S from Superman, or the Bat cowl from Batman. You get what I mean.

I've seen more reveling outfits so I can't say a boob window is a big deal when Starfire may as well be naked. I mean you could fill it with a PG "power girl", but I see nothing wrong with her outfit.

Catwoman has a zipper to her navel and her boobs are drawn bigger than PG's are.

She had one of the most unique costumes in Superherodom and they got rid of it just because comic book artists have boob lust. They really just needed to tone it down.

^ More like the editors have "slut shame". The editors dictate to the artists, they aren't free to vent their sexual fantasies in the comics they work on.

Dammit just change her name to Boob Girl or I C, I see!
