woo hoo :)

just got an e~mail about this and thought i would share it with the group.

not sure how markup works with embedding so i'll give it a go.

first a few promo shots of the movie...

and now the ultimate test... can i embed the movie itself... here goes...

these guys have done an amazing job on this movie and hav relesed 2 more power girl films and some others. i highly reccomend heading over to their website to check out the others... Catwoman: the diamond heist is perticulary worth checking out.

Kudos to these guys for actually taking the time to create these amazing video's, and for taking the time for actually finding people that look like the characters.

if there ever is a powergirl movie, i hope it looks half as good as this one :)

Sorry if it seems like I'm bashing this thread but that Power Girl looks ugly to me. Surely they could find another woman? Though I love fan films. I remember watching Star Wars fan films. They always have this sense of cheapness to them, but I think that's what makes them so fun and watchable.

If they can't get Wonder Woman off the ground, there's not chance in hell that Power Girl will make it to the big screen but here's to hoping! :)

Tawnya Manion from the fanfilm looks like a good candidate, but they'll obviously take a bigger name.
Allison Mack might be a good choice, she voiced PG in Supes/Bats Public Enemies, and kinda has the face, but obviously not the body.

I'm thinking there's no shot at PG getting a live action movie any time soon.  But there might be a shot at either live action TV, (if they do a JSA follow-up to Smallville), or more likely, something in animation.  Most likely either a second feature on the direct to DVD stuff, or as part of a JSA DDVD or animated series.  Possibly even a JLI animated series.  But as a solo character, not yet.  She just doesn't have any name recognition beyond comics, and brings nothing else to the party the they'd use as an excuse to put her in something.

I was pretty surprised when they didn't write her out of the Public Enemies DVD.

I would love to see a Powergirl movie but if Wonder Woman can't get a film of her own then I doubt Powergirl would get one before her. Her best chance is if she is a supporting character in a new Superman or Justice League movie.

A Power girl movie would be much better than some stuff DC has made.
