    Speedy review:

This is issue number 2 of the Winick/Basri run on Power Girl and I, who was a huge fan of the previous team, am happy to say that this creative team is killin' it!  I will start off with a huge resounding plea for all to go pick up this series.  Those of you who avoided it previously because of the lack of connection to current DC happenings this book is tied in to Generation Lost.  Not so much that you would have to buy that if you didn't want to though.  Also, those who didn't like the over the top humor of the past creative team will be happy to know that this is now a darn good super hero book with humor laced into the story and that humor feels organic to the situations that our protagonist is being placed into.  To all those Winick haters...I don't get it.  He's doing a great job with characterization, story, and pacing.

Basri art while very different from Amanda's fantastic work is no less for the comparison.  The art has a slight manga feel to faces but again that is not a complaint.  Basri really steps it up this issue.  While last was well depicted it suffered in a few panels not so this issue.  Nice layouts across the board.

We still have a Power Girl that is balancing between her private and super hero lives.  This is not very easy at all for our super hero to do.  Even a super hero can be taken in by a con.  This part will play out in back story for a bit but I have a feeling we will finally see a thread that was started by Jimmy and Justin run its course.  Who was the husband of the embezzling employee?

This book again comes strongly recommended!  4.5 stars out of 5

I can't wait to see where this run goes!  I'm sure she will pick herself up and learn from her errors.

Even Power Girl has bad days 0

Power Girl have seen better days. A friend of hers rob her company blind leaving it bankrupt, and Kara (like almost everyone in the superhero department) loses their memory on who Maxwell Lord is. Oh, and she has to save New York. That's nothing new right?  Pros:   Life can't always go Power Girl's way, and this issue proves this somewhat. Kara is frustrated knowing that her company is in bankrupt thanks supposedly by Donna, someone who Kara trusted. Not only that, but she has to stop this uniqu...
