I thought Galactus was the source of the Power Cosmic, but I recently found out that it might actually be the astral plane?

Could someone clarify which one is the correct source?

It was said in In Thy Nane that the Astral Plane is the source of the PC. It's also been said that users of the PC, excluding Galactus, are constantly being replenished by energies from the physical universe.

Galactus appears to be a manifestation of the PC. Only he can harness and bestow the energy. He giveth and he can taketh away. When he gives the power to a herald, he only bestows a portion (some get more than others). They do not have unlimited power.

Many regard the astral plane comment as a one off comment, and not necessarily the complete/total truth. I mean, technically, if the PC exists outside of Galactus and his heralds, then it would be possible for others to tap into it, such as Doom, Mr Fantastic or Black Panther who have siphoned and used the energy. I like for it to be a more Galactus exclusive energy.

@jloneblackheart: I agree with your assertion. Galactus being the source and ultimate dispenser of the Power Cosmic would actually further cement his position as The Balance of the Celestial Trinity of himself, Eternity/Infinity, and Death/Oblivion.
