    This Platinum has Dents

It seems the unknown girl has a hidden agenda in order to keep her secrecy, which she blew it by announcing herself in the Pokémon contest. Consider it the 1 Plot hole of the series. The Pokémon contest itself feels like a giant error as she was able win easily win with no talk of the competition. They shown that city cheated because they don’t want the shame of being pushover but the story made it that way. I would like hear the other trainers but it seem they were brushed off. I have complaints for diamond and pearl making them sweeping though taking the challenge out this is one of them. Speaking of brush off the unknown girl gave the news reporters that when she refuse to give them information of the unknowns the reasons why they took her picture. They are considered taploids which makes want to read their story more since they do not get respect in the community. This makes the unknown smug teaser. Respecting secrecy is one thing but the unown were trapped for their security and would stay that way if were by strangers helping them and with no after thought of it may happen again they would endanger themselves again. We get to see some smarts when they pokeball capsule seals as light. It is obvious idea that should have been use in the franchise.

I get to see the real body guards Uji and Paka in action they are the saving grace for this book. They show they are competent fighters by beating team galactic member. They have mistaken Dia and Pearl as kidnappers and they keep discretion. Uji and Paka may going to be simply background characters they show good characters for their first appearance and they keep that up they would have a fandom.

I may give a chance but this kind the stuff that people would think it is just waste. Dia and Pearl acts seem to be for off panel but now it’s getting dry. Uji and Paka made want to read more since they show they have depth and are not stereotypical arc types. This build up better be worth it since I can only give so mush slack. 2 stars a fan may like it and regret it afterward when someone shows how good story is made with Pokémon but everyone else turned off quickly.
