I think Ivy works much better with the green skin, especially after going through the Arkham games. But even before then, the human look with the plant clothing just made her appear corny im my opinion. As green Ivy, she certainly has an exotic charm to her, this saddens me to see...
Poison Ivy
Character » Poison Ivy appears in 1955 issues.
A brilliant botanical biochemist, Pamela Isley is a fervent eco-terrorist out to save the world's plant life by any means necessary. She often finds herself at odds with Batman, though they have, on occasion, fought on the same side.
So the DC reboot has Ivy looking human again? Ugh...
I'm not going to worry about it until we can actually read more about her in this new reboot. Recently (in Gotham City Sirens) Ivy gained control over her skin pigmentation, so she can change her skin color from green to normal flesh tone if she wants to appear human. So she could still have green skin and the flesh tone was simply how she was choosing to look at the moment. We just don't know yet.
She can probably control it still, since even her costume changes color. I prefer her swapping between the two colors since it makes her seem more plant like because it seems like she changes seasons

Just wait, the look will grow on you.
Sorry.
I actually agree with you on this one,I see nothing wrong with this look.
I prefer the green skin look but i like the new look as well. I think she looks better with auburn colored hair when she has normal skin and firey red colored hair when she has green skin. I want to know how she has changed in the DCnU. Whats with the suit and has her powers changed at all. I thought she was great in Gotham City Sirens and shouldnt move away from her that way as a character
this, although, unlike the person who posted it, I find it to be a good thing, It always made more sense, judging from her powerset, that Ivy would be more of a human/plant hybrid rather than a supermodel in a suit made of leavesHuman-Looking!?????? If anything, Ivy's plant-hybrid creepy factor has ratcheted up tenfolds
I don't hate it, but I don't think it has the same effect her green skin and plant suit had. I don't mind the change in clothing, but it could have been something less cheesy and generic.
