Ivy is an environmentalist, it's sort of her whole deal, but would she eat animals? If you were like Ivy, you'd probably look at a salad like a big ol' bowl of baby meat, so that's probably out of the question too. It's a legitimate question to wonder what Poison Ivy eats. If she's vegetarian, that both coincides and contrasts with her environmentalist viewpoint. However, if she refuses to eat plants and survives on an all meat diet, that's equally contradictory. Can anyone with even more time on their hands than me please shed some light here?
Poison Ivy
Character » Poison Ivy appears in 1964 issues.
A brilliant botanical biochemist, Pamela Isley is a fervent eco-terrorist out to save the world's plant life by any means necessary. She often finds herself at odds with Batman, though they have, on occasion, fought on the same side.
Is Poison Ivy A Vegetarian?
@The Stegman: Possibly.
@InnerVenom123: She's EVIL! I mean, more so than was originally implied.
@BlackArmor: Kinda.
Well, technically, weeds eat plants and they ARE plants themselves, so probably not, but if she does she's "technically" not being hypocritical.
I just watched an episode of Gotham where Ivy was mean mugging a dude eating a pickle. It makes me wonder
I hope Ivy isn't a vegetarian. Vegetarians are just cruel mass murderers. At least if you eat animals, the animal can run away from you before you catch it. It has a sporting chance. But vegetables are rooted in the ground. They can't run away. They are just sitting there waiting to be slaughtered or worse ... eating alive!
