awesome sauce

Apologies if you said this and I misunderstood, but isn't Tiffany's "I Think We're Alone Now" also a cover of someone else's song?

Also, my answer to 'Pie or Death?'

Death by Pie.

@wardishy: I thought I pointed out her two 'hits' were covers while Gibson's were not. If I didn't, I meant to.

You're just a Tiffany hater.

I love the banter this episode! Bring Marc in for a Friday show if you can. 2 Coreys, Marc and Tony all unfocused would make for fun times.

I guess I wasn't OLD enough to relate to part of the conversation in the podcast because I was clueless to either of these artists were. XD

@g_man: You probably did, my bad. My listening comprehension leaves something to be desired I guess. I did have a little trouble following that part of the conversation.

@iceslick: Calling me old?!

@wardishy: I guess so, lol. It's only a joke because I'm kind of old too according to most in the world, I'm 28.

Posted by Wardishy

@iceslick: I'm not even as old as you, haha. I wasn't born when that song was out, I just know of it.

@wardishy: Oh I see, sorry about that, lol. I guess you just happened to ran across it in the net or knows someone who knows these songs.

Posted by Wardishy

@iceslick: Yeah, I think quite a bit of my favourite music was around before I was born. Music has no expiration date, it lives forever!

@wardishy: True, music does live forever. I guess you have an old soul.

@wardishy: So you're saying Tiffany's "I think we're alone now" is one of your favorite songs?

Posted by Wardishy

@g_man: That's not what I'm saying!

I knew that would be taken in that context but I was too lazy to clarify my sentence... serves me right.

I think the song's alright. :)

Wow, now I can't wait for Oak Island! :D It can't get here any sooner!

Never in my life have I heard someone say that an artist's personality is distinct from their art. Well, now I have. I suppose the engine in my car is distinct from the car itself, too. Sure, the car is an a-hole, but I like the way it sounds.

Ugh, thank god Mat was there acting as the voice of reason this week. :)

Oak Island sounds like a pretty great comic

This in the original 1967 Tommy James and the Shondell's version of 'I Think We're Alone Now'.

And this is the 2006 Girls Aloud version.

I was nearly 12 when the Tiffany version came out.

Marc sounds quite similar to Corey.

This Marc guy seems like a pretty awesome person!
