I don't think Hal's entire origin needs to be  the whole Green Lantern movie people will get it.

Superman got Lois pregnant during Superman 2 when he lost her powers they sleep together then he removed her memories that he was Superman, he was also powerless in Superman 2 and didn't have any powers he probably did not even know he could crossbreed. I've seen the first two Superman movies and Superman Returns and I didn't like any of them.

I saw the second episode of Human Target and it was cool.

The Dark Knight was the best superhero movie and it had a complex plot with many characters and the audience accepted it. So maybe the issue is not that complex superhero movies don't work but maybe it has to be done right and intelligently.

After that delivery, I think Babs has quite enough to deal with when it comes to the trades. Gigiddy.

The first few Superman movies were kind of confusing. Lois was like an Alzheimer's patient. She would learn who Clark is, and forget all the time. Since when did his kiss wipe out memories? Not to mention that weird ass cellophane S he throws in the second movie. I also didn't like Margot Kidder made a very good Lois.

I don't have a problem with having the Spider-man movie being set in high school. I'm just more worried that the story may be too "high school".

One thing I notice about Land's work. All the women stand in the same fists on their hips poses.

I always thought of Osborn as the Joker of Marvel.

Making Wonder Woman the representative of Love is rather cliche.

It was the adding so many characters is what was killing the Batman movies before the reboots.

As for Land's work you're right, lately his work totally looks copy paste and I always thought that when he draws hips they seem not congruent with the top-side...

...but if you read Phoenix: Endsong the art doesn't seem copy pasted... basically because it was an older comic so then it was a good comic...

I agree with you, Osborn is Joker's Marvel...

or if you ever read Superman/Batman #59 and 60 you see an amaglam version of Joker and Luther... That is Osborn!

You could say the Green Goblin is the Joker and Osborn is Lex Luther...

Great podcast guys.

For Namor I think Luke Goss is a good choice while not being the bast actor I think he could pull off Namor's swag and toughness and he already played a prince which is only a hop skip and jump away from being king.I liked Ray Palmer as Indigo or Barry as Hope I'm not sure which I liked more.Thor movie is gonna rock with or without the rainbow bridge in the dark, yes Dio go listen to it now you know you want to.Definitely with you LAMP on the zombie apocalypse just give me a shotgun and a machete maybe a can of beans and I'll be in heaven if heaven had a zombie apocalypse. Also Guy Gardner is the best lantern PERIOD!

When it comes to Land's work. It's not as if the man can't draw at all. There is also the absurdity of how everyone smiles and super heroes are constantly in uniform during every day moments of their lives.

Semi-Crude comment:

You point out a good distinction that I missed. Osborn and Green Goblin really are pretty much different personalities at times.
Green Goblin just isn't as epic as the Joker. As far as Osborn goes. He strikes me more along the lines of a watered down Luthor.

I found a clip that sort of points out the absurdity of that cellophane S

I think the live video podcast is a great idea and I'm sure it will create some great conversations. I am just not sure if I would ever take part in them.

Don Blake was at first a shell for Thor and he lived in the void but after Ragnarock the effects wore of and he was set free and existed as a human being

Ultron, to me, in an Avengers movie, would be like Hank Pym's physical embodyment of his hostilities and negative emotions.  So his character would need to be established in the first few (maybe 20) movies.
Slowly show how unstable, Pym is, how he secretly recents and is jealous of all the Avengers in one way or another, even if its a little.  Then he has a break down too, maybe.
But Ultron is created and becomes the embodiment of all those unstable feelings, Ultron hates and wants to kill all of the Avengers.  This forces not only Pym but the rest of the Avengers to confront them and him, by defeating Ultron.
