A podcast, Batman news and Justin Bieber detained by U.S. Customs......what a freakin' day!!!!!

Boooo! I enjoyed John Carter a lot, actually. It's just a good dose of fun escapism. Predictable sure, but I really dug it.

Yeah, Tatum won me over with 21 Jump Street. He was teeeeeeeeeeeeeerrible in GI Joe: Rise of the Cobra. I know he wasn't working with good material there, but damn, talk about a wooden performance in that one.

But in all seriousness, no casting announcement change the fact that this movie is still helmed by Snyder, who's yet to make a superhero movie I've enjoyed and that it's been mushed into a pre-justice league jam band. It's been fast tracked, slow tracked, and has multiple script doctors. Non of this lends itself to good storytelling.

@k4tzm4n: Thank you! Someone else likes John Carter!

You do realize that two of those actors are actually in their thirties, right?

Worlds Finest is pretty solid. It doesn't take it self seriously and at least Karen can keep her clothes on now. My biggest problem with the book is ever since they announced the cross over with Batman/Superman it has been spinning it's wheels.

I may be a bit biased as I do enjoy me some Powergirl however.

In the April solicitations there is a new creative team coming on so you might want to check it out then.

Edit: Thanks for answering my questions guys. And Coery Supergirl is going to be on Red Lantern and Justice League United launching in April so I am super stoked for that. All though who every wrote the article missed that but it was announced on Jeff Lemries blog.

I have to say... I would like to read Red Lanterns again, because I liked it before Soule took over, but I just cant because I don't want to help promote a character I really dislike that Soule added to the cast as the main character by the looks of it.

Never stop with the music

Worlds' Finest has been on my pull list since issue one, remains on my pull list, and I don't think I could logically explain why at all.

It's definitely gotten better, but it's just so nondescript. Seems like every issue is filler.

Someone said that DC doesn't have many 2.99 books when comparing it to Marvel prices. DC definitely still has plenty of 2.99 selections. Here is a list of current books at that price.

2.99 DC books: Phantom Stranger, Constintine, Pandora, Sucicide Squad, Aquaman, Flash, Green Arrow, Justice League 300, Wonder Woman, Worlds Finest, Earth 2, Superman, Superboy, Supergirl, Birds of Prey, Batwing, Catwoman, Batgirl, Batman and, Batwoman, Nightwing, Harley Quinn, Talon, Green Lantern, Red Lantern, Green Lantern Corps, Green Lantern New Guardians, Larfleeze, Animal Man, Stromwatch, Swamp Thing, Teen Titans

I know that in generally both of the big Two are phasing out 2.99 books and DC probably will get to the point where marvel is and have a very limited 2.99 selection, but right now DC still has a good selection of 2.99 books.

I'm liking the Forever Evil: Bright story and I don't get way people are hating on it. The Powerpuff Girls verrent cover is fine and people are reading way too much into it.

@timelord: I just checked the solictations cv ran 1 week ago for dc. It still lists paul levitz and crappy rb silva as the creative team. Where did you get your info? I can't stand rb silva.

Now all i can picture is James Franco as the Riddler and Seth Rogen as Lobo.

@lifeboy: It might have turned out to be a rumor then I think the May Solicitations is were we are going to see some big shake ups.

It looks like Scott Lobdell will be off Superman being replaced by Geoff Johns Link

They also need to hurry up and announce the next wave all ready.

the .1 kind of made me 100% sure Ms. Marvel is gonna suck.

Jessie Eisenberg did not win an Academy Award nor a BAFTA, Colin Firth won that year for the Kings Speech. Eisenberg was only nominated.

To be honest all the shows they make these days are nothing compared to what they used to do. I mean come one they were better than this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
