Really happy Mat brought up how much events can potentially hinder titles. It would be great to go a year without events and just let each book thrive on its own.
@iceslick: hi iceslick! I read Birds 27 it was ok. I guess its a parley issue so I will give it a couple more issues. I wasn't sure how I felt about the line-up especially Stricks, but I will be gosh darn if I didn't end up falling in love with her. She is just a little girl looking for her mom. Who wouldn't love a character like that!!
@lifeboy: Yeah, Strix is a pretty cool character, what I like about her is that she can come off as violently and uncaring. But there are times she can have a heart and caring about her parents is one of them. Her origin is very tragic..so it's kind hard to not feel bad for her as well. That issue is okay, but I think it's a good jumping on point because it sets up the story for the new arc. The others are a bit better though. I'm glad you picked it up though!
