Tony, Mat and Corey are back. There was a podcast last week but Corey sabotaged it. Find out what the thoughts are on the latest comic announcements and comic departures plus this week's comics. There's also sort of a cameo by Jen.
Well, there you go - I never knew that the Breakdance films are called Breakin' in the Colonies ... took me a while there to realise what you were on about! I suppose the UK distributors reckoned we'd think a film with the original title was about burglars. (Did you know that where you say 'burglarise', we say 'burgle'. And now Wally, Donna and Stephanie do too.)
@undeadpool The opposite of 'subtitle' is 'surtitle' - get thee to the opera.
@inferiorego Mat, as regards your filled-with-certainty remarks about how after Kirby left Jimmy Olsen, both the JO comic and Lois Lane dropped the 'Superman's Pal/Girlfriend' cover lines. You imagined that ;) They both continued with it until the last issue:

I only remembered cos I'm so ruddy old. Have you thought of having an elderly person on the podcast occasionally? Not me, mind - I'm as shy as I'm old!
I was wrong. However, the "Superman's pal" part did get a little smaller. Small enough for me to forget they were friends.

Oh my God Corey, I can't believe you think Summers is to blame for killing Professor X but Jean isn't responsible for what she did when she had the Phoenix powers. Peter Parker was slightly being controlled by the symbiote, so he took it off before it could take complete control. Jean is always excused for what she did.
PLUS, more importantly *SPOILERS* Prof. X was trying to erase Cyclops memory. I think it was this podcast if not the last one, when you Corey aka Number 1 aka Undeadpool said, "what are we but a collections of memories." You then added, that Dark World/Dark City or something like that, was about that concept.
So Prof. X was going to erase his memory, arguably kill him with the idea of, who are we but a collection of memories, while he was "in control" of the Phoenix Force, (the same way Jean claimed to be "in control.") and Cyclops is still to blame?
I always fail to grasp this idea that Jean wasn't in control of the Phoenix Force but Cyclops was... Jean, a powerful telepath, couldn't control the Phoenix Force, but Summers, a guy who shoots optic blasts could?
And... The Phoenix Force... thought she was Jean Grey? But The Phoenix Force couldn't have thought she/he was Scott Summers?
Again, a telepath couldn't control the PF but a eye optic blaster could?
@undeadpool: @bunkerbuster05: Yeah Corey if you're looking for Heist game, you should Payday The Heist 1 or 2. It's really fun to play with your friends to shoot and steal stuff.
And the problem with sorting books by their adjectives, for a seller, is that while it may work great for those that know what they are looking for, if a new reader comes in looking for that X-Men book they want, but that is all they know about it, it really needs to be with all the other X-Men books, Uncanny or not. Just my onion ;-)
@timelord, there are rumors that an ongoing book titled "Young Justice" will be released in the spring and star Aqualad along with other teen heroes. I can't remember where I read it but the same source predicted a bunch of the newest DC announcements such as Justice League United and Aquaman and the Others.
