San Diego Comic-Con is over but the good times are not! Tony, Mat, Gregg and Andy (in the background) discuss this past weekend at the show and give you a behind the scenes look at everything we did during the convention.
@g_man: Thanks a bunch! Used to have a different account that I hadn't logged into in a while, wouldn't work. Time to start anew anyhow. I look forward to the next podcast!
Big thanks for squeezing this in after all the other great con coverage! It was good to get a wrap-up and it showed real dedication from all 3 of you to do it.
@g_man: I'm a fan and you do a 1000 things well, but here's what I hope is a constructive criticism:
Highlighting on air what a benevolent overlord you are and how grateful staff should be for their assignments ... doesn't make for the best listening.
@k4tzm4n: Gosh I sure hope so, especially since word through the grapevine is that only people who actually were at SDCC this year are only going to have dibs at passes for SDCC next year.
@g_man Hey Tony! I lived in Germany for two years, know the area well and speak fluent German. If you guys would like some help of any kind with the Gamescon in Germany let me know!! I would love to help! There's a comic convention in Salt Lake. If you were interested in having that covered or anything posted on Comic Vine I would love to do that too! Lastly, I've written a comic that is being illustrated. I sent you an email about this. Would you be interested in putting a free comic vine add in my issues? Thanks Tony! Great Podcast as always! Thanks for making one this week even though you were busy!!
@g_man: Tony, I haven't listened to the podcast yet, very surprised to see one. I just wanted to say thanks to the entire Comic Vine staff for a job very well done covering the Con. I can't begin to imagine how exhausted you all must be. Now, I do expect to see the weeks essentials posted by the end of the day, chop chop (j/k).
I wasn't expecting this. You guys didn't have to, I know you've been super busy with the con, so thanks! Looking forward to listening before I start work.
I listen to a lot of Podcast - mostly Kevin Smith. They're around 2 hours, so this is no biggie. Never actually listened to one of these Podcasts. But might try it out.
@thecerealkillz: We just recorded it. I still need to pack. Videos still need to be edited. Cosplay pics need to be uploaded. It was this or nothing until Wednesday's Super Massive or Friday's weekly podcast. We're all exhausted.
