Oh my god, how terrible! Doesn't sound like DC treats James too well, at least communication wise. I am always amazed with all the hiccups, considering how much he has their back.
Is there any way the earlier podcast, pre information incident, could be released with a disclaimer? You could even call it a lost podcast. I love hearing the banter especially when James is around, and what a waste to can it! Thanks for all your time.
Oy veh. The sound is killing me. I think I'm going to pass out when I finish listening to this.
That said, it is sad to see what happened with James Robinson. I was really waiting to see what he had to say. I even asked a question that didn't have anything to do with Lois Lane. F*ck Lois Lane. I came for other sh*t. Sexual innuendo should be noted.
I want to know what kind of book Earth 2 will be. Will it be exploring everything around Earth 2 or will it only focus on a core group of people? I ask this because James mentioned earlier that the JSA's big three would be in this series. Is this teaser of Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman just for the first arc or does it go deeper than that? Does it even have anything to do with the book at the moment? It IS a variant cover after all.
I also wanted to know what James did before writing comics? Did he go to college to study anything? I want to one day write comics during or after my shot at directing. I've already written some feature length films and I'm in college studying directing. I figured studying directing could also help me out in the comic book world. Is the scripting similar in comic books?
Really enjoyed Javier Pulido on The Shade it's great how his past is revealed slowly with great potential.
I completely agree Mongol should have been the villain for the Justice League opening with Darkseid and also wasting him as well is just a mistake. Maybe it was the best issue so far but I think I'm done it was so slow moving with questionable team choices. Kinda feel bad reading it for so long really wanted a Justice League book.
Sara and Corey, you all were put in a really awkward position, but I think you made the best choice in those circumstances. I can understand the short podcast. I look forward to Tuesday.
I will never grasp the level of venom that is directed toward James for things that he has utterly no control over. When I had issues with Quesada, it was because he was at the time the EIC. He was the one in charge. Why are people being pissed about Lois being dead in "Earth 2"? It's just one of a few stories.
I would add that I bought one of The Darkness comics when they first began. Jackie was told about how the Darkness is passed. He said he would use protection, and this guy who was filling him in on the back story asked if he knew of a method of contraception that was 100% effective. There was then this panel of shock in Jackie's eyes. It was so damn corny.
I don't know how they are going to top that moment of Hulk catching Iron Man. They show too much in trailers. Which is why I stop watching them after a while. I always hated they spoiled that "suit case" moment in Iron Man 2. That could have been such a cool surprise.
I don't play Facebook games. Though, people are constantly sending me Farmville requests. I have my PS3 and Fruit Ninja on my Kindle Fire. I'm good.
Who was that person cosplaying while nude? Topless and little panties? I wouldn't call that gross. I would say it's really rude. I can understand your concern. There was an anime once that I saw. The title that was really mild. What happened I wish I could un-see.
Awww, a lady said I was adored. I'm going to have a good weekend. Well, providing that wasn't sarcasm that I missed. I'll just roll with the positive on this. =D And adorations to you, as well.
Hey guys, just letting you guys know you're a great podcast to workout to. I find myself working out better with conversation than music. And it's especially fun when you guys off on tangents that no longer relate. Don't be afraid to do that more.
But just one complaint would be audio levels. I find myself having to put the volume on max to hear clearly. Not sure if I'm the only one.

Superman could take out Mongol himself. Darkseid is a bigger threat plus this seems to only set him up for his inevitable return. Also next 2 are suppose to be one-shot stories so don't expect it to have the same slow build the previous had.
@Roldan: Really it just felt a little a let down with this portrayal of Darkseid since he just fights the League normally he gets more in their heads and plots things from far away. Mongul I feel could have been in his place he even has a daughter which is mentioned by Darkseid. Power level wise they could just amp him up. I could feel Darkseid is returning just to be the threat in the Earth 2 book based on the cover and Superman's line about seeing himself fight Darkseid.
I agree with Johnny, Mongul would have been a far more appropriate choice for this story; as it is, Darkseid's brand was devalued - he just stood there like an amateur, rather than the God of Evil able to manipulate billions with his sinister plots. This fella was just a pultroon. Shame about the first version of the podcast. I really don't understand why DC is being so (apparently) paranoid about releasing basic information about Earth 2, as if they fear that the more we know, the less likely we are to buy. I can't wait to see what James, Paul, Nicola, Kevin, George and co get up to.
By the way, Corey, Echo want created by Brian Bendis, she's the brainchild of David Mack and Joe Quesada. Of course, she's rubbish either way. Presumably she's getting a nice Stark Industries heart. And as for how to pronounce 'Nefaria', given it's derived from 'nefarious', it's 'far' = 'fair'.
Good podcast but seriously...this is like the third time you guys had a 20 minute long cosplay tangent. It's cool and all but I get it. Other than that great show.
I never do pull lists. I have had many opportunities. But to me I need to be able to go in and say, "I usually buy this comic of the FF or Batman but not today." For whatever reason I don't get it I need the option of not having to buy it, if you have a pull list you have to buy it because they pulled it for you. I used to call and have them hold comics for me, but not a pull list. What if I suddenly decide to stop buying Invincible because I want to wait till they are in a graphic novel, or I stop getting New 52 JLA because the artist changed or something. Not giving specific examples. But I think now I am just rambling.

When I saw Sin City the movie the local comic shop, Comic Quest, had a table and passed out their $1 comics. One comic per person. That was a cool thing for a story to do.
