It has been said that some of the kids would be put on the X-Men teams, plus Mike Carey (i think) said that Pixie was a character to watch out for in 2008.

I'm hoping for Mercury to become an official X-Man also.

Surge probably will be around. They said that some of the X-kids will be put on the regular teams, atleast one on each team, and one will appear in the Deadpool ongoing.

As far as Wolverine is concerned aren't pretty much all the hot Marvel woman kinda like robbing the cradle? I mean the guy is at least 150? I am certain he beat Mystique age wise and she is at last check in her hundreds and she is technically dead.

I Like Armor fine as the X-men's 'mascot' she was at least cool and when ready she could really kick some a. Pixie get's on my nerves the cute factor is totally lost on me. Sure she would be bring something different to the normally dark-haired kiddie member.

Thing is I was finally thought Shadowcat as cool and Armor was pretty much a go from the start. Now they get Pixie [eyeroll].

Oh well it is Marvel after all and I suppose I'll just have to deal.

It's Blindfold. And the two guys in the middle is brand new. Daken has some big tattoos, hasn't he?.

That's exactly how I feel.

She looks a WHOLE lot older in that picture than she is normally drawn. I know that is not abnormal for marvel artists (and it is actually quite irritating how they seem to refuse to maintain consistency for some characters). I wonder if that is it.

Why would you think that, neither one looks anything like Daken.

The two new guys is called Ink and Greymalkin. Daken... wtf are you smoking.

So the lineup is Blindfold, Rockslide, Wolf Cub, Dust, Ink and Greymalkin. Kind of meh lineup.

The only one I like in that group is Rockslide. Also, Dust and Blindfold should walk around together a lot. Their costumes demand it.

I only like Rockslide and Wolf cub. I am not exactly sure about dust. I need to read more about her to see if I like her.

The character Ink's powers is apparently that he gets a tattoo, and then gets the powers of that tattoo.

That seems very 90's to me. What's to stop him from getting a tattoo of the Hulk? Or even the Infinity Gems?

And how does that work, really? How does his mutant powers adapt to the ink and why? Not a good character, and not worthy to take the place of Hellion, Mercury or Surge.

I've decided to compare all the information sites in regards to the X-men and I've found Wikipedia to be the quickest on the updates of information and while it at times isn't completely accurate it's more so than Marvel's own site or the others.

I of course could be wrong and not have visited a site that's better but I could hardly be held accountable for something no one has referred me too.

AS for the team of Young X-men. I could do without Rockslide never cared much for him but I understand every team needs a powerhouse and that might as well be him. I like Dust and Blindfold adds the 'telepathy' element to the team, Wolfcub would be the 'feral' one. I don't know about the others. So I'll reserve commentary on them to a later date. I do however agree with Fesak on some of the members not worthy to replace Surge, Mercury or Hellion thou in his current condition the last one wouldn't do much good any way.

I wonder he will be the team leader?

i´m agree with you but they could put on the team loa or trance and i believe that ink´s powers rock. It remembers me DJ´s powers. but i beleieve that the new grey guy whose name I can´t remember isn´t very necesary on the team.

I don't like Ink already. You're right, it doesn't make sense and I don't seem him as able to fill the shoes of anyone you mentioned. They said they liked him because he was someone who could evolve in terms of powers and also visually. I think they're overlooking characters that already exist. Rockslide and Anole have both already shown they can evolve (plus, I think they're funny together). Then there's Elixir whose power could let him actually evolve once he learns to do more.

Should I wait to the comic comes out? I was thinking of making ink's profile.

Yes, i do know that, but i also know many people that adds false information to Wikipedia for fun.

The best source of information for adding to comicvine is your own comic books.

Well i read that she´s not going to join the X-Men (too bad because she is an awesome character and my favorite) but that she´s starring the free comic book day or something like that dont want to spoil with the history but i found an interview with the penciler or writer of the comic.

I hope that they are going to make her join them or at leats she´s seen more in the comics...

I watched on anothher forums that the pixie´s cover alongside the uncanny x-men will be the cover of the freee comic day of 2008

Lol ya'll i miss JUBES too!!! but pixie is cool, but i seriously thought mercury was going to be with the x-men..... guess I was wrong lol! She did get voted most like to be in the x-men though....... right?

I have just noticed that Pixie is in the far(very far actually) back of the Astonishing X-Men image in wikipedia with Neznho and what i think is Dust, again i hope she gets an important and alive role in any of X-Men comic(appart of the FCBD)
