Pixie is a fairy-winged mutant who can cause those exposed to her dust to experience hallucinations. Her powers also includes teleportation.
A former X-Men student, she is now part of the Legion of X.
She has been forced down readers' throats, been given way too much panel-time in comparison to some of the other New X-Men without having done anything particularly worthy to qualify for the amount of time that has been invested in her. Her powers are ridiculous too.

He's actually done stuff to qualify the time invested in him and he hasn't have a fifth of the amount Pixie's coverage since Messiah Complex. He also wasn't forced into the spotlight right at the end of the run....

You said she didn't do anything to deserve her light, and yet, he was created with his, there's a disconnect.
I would prefer her out of Fraction's hands though... i do fear that once he leaves she'll disappear too.

Nothing to hate about. I don't like her. Of all the females that they could have used thwey chose her. Dumb ass move, but then again, look who's in charge of the X-books. lol
Personally, I like Pixie. She's not a bad character, at all. Out of most of the New X-Men/Mutants she's probably one of my top picks for actual development in her character. I don't understand why so many people dislike her.

She's definitely getting a lot of attention...most of the other New Mutants don't get what she gets with her frequent appearances in Uncanny X-Men. Personally I wish they'd fit in some more Rockslide and Prodigy.

@cmkphoenixfan1: I agree with you. I liked her as a minor character in the begining of New X-Men (II) and feel they fleshed out her character well. I don't see how she's being "forced" on the readers. Yes, she's in a few X titles minorly, but so is Illyana for the same reason. They both 'port and on a lot of their fights, it is needed. She's also proven herself in battle.
I love her character and am glad she is around. She brings levity and a youthful viewpoint. Kind of like how Kitty used to when she first joined the X-Men although in a slightly different way.
I like her kinda, I guess it makes sense that she became part of the core team since shes valuable as the current teleporter. Other than that I hate how marvel keeps cramming her down our throats. Of course one thing I don't get is during (and before) the New X-men run she was depicted as a fairly small girl and it gave her the "annoying little sister" look everyone became fond of, now they gave her this whole redesign giving her sex appeal a huge boost and now its being shoved everywhere and I'm not biting. Well, not as much anyways. The old Pixie fit in better I say.
