    Pintail Duck was a British sailor in the Caribbean. Once Pintail and officer Malcolm "Matey" McDuck buried a treasure that actually consisted of potatoes. Their ship the Falcon Rover shunk with its crew on 9 December, 1564 in conflict with the Spanish. According to the story "Back to Long Ago", Pintail was eventually reincarnated as Donald Duck a distant descentant of his. Donald has been able to access some of Pintail'ss memories through hypnotism.
