Somehow I hadn't heard anything about this book until a few days before its release.  The first thing I saw was the title.  That was enough to sell me.  Can the idea of Pinocchio as a vampire slayer work?

I absolutely loved this book.  While I enjoy the mainstream 'popular' comics, I'm always looking for something new and/or different.  This was simply a refreshing read.  I still can't believe that this idea hasn't been done before.  It makes perfect sense.  I strongly encourage you to seek out this book and pick it up.  It's great to see stuff from the other publishers and I would like to see more 'different' stuff like this.  I think the publishers do need to take a chance once in a while rather than simply put out variations of the same (superhero) concept.

Ok, I'm stoked. Like you as soon as I heard the name I was excited beyond belief. If my comic book store has it I'll try to buy it this weekend when I go. It's a bit more money than I might be able to spend but if so I will just save for it.

I haven't bought any Slave Labor/SLG since Bear ended.  This is a strangely simple idea, but I wonder how they came up with it??

I love the idea, the concept, everything, but sadly the price.....I know, I know I "should" get it but IDK.  Pinochhio's nose as a Vampire killing weapon is frikkin' BRILLIANT!!  I also love oddball different stuff.  The title alone is great.

I really hate the idea that you can simply put two or more absurd things together and please are generation. Robot Vikings? SOLD!! Zombie Firefighters? SOLD!!

@TicketyTock: Have you read anything like them because some of them are actually good stories too.

@Vortex13: Oh yes! a book like Cowboy Ninja Viking is great, but thats not always the case. I didn't like Robots Vs. Zombies very much and the new book Werewolves On The Moon Vs. Vampires published by Image is awful. I just really hate when the words Vampire or Zombie are thrown around. Its becoming a cliche.

@TicketyTock: Yeah I understand that, but unless I hear something very negative I try to give it a chance. This sounds interesting to me though it's an interesting concept (I thought Werewolves On The Moon Vs. Vampires was dumb too).

That is amazing! I'm definitely going to buy that this weekend.

The book itself looks amazing but, once again, G-Man's excellent sound effects sealed the deal.
