Overview
The Phoenix is back! But where has it been reborn? Fire and pain await the X-Men. Can they handle what's to come?!
Spoilers
The Phoenix Force returns and this time wants the Stepford Cuckoos to be the hosts.
The Cuckoos, with the Phoenix Force, attack the Xavier Institute and escape. The Cuckoos then travel to the Headquarters of the Weapons Plus Program in England to discover tubes of clones that look like them.
The Phoenix dove itself into the hundreds of clones, and now Celeste, Phoebe, Mindee, and their clones all have the Phoenix in them. The clones are all genetically similar to Emma Frost which means they are somewhat her daughters.
A giant machine snatches Mindee and Phoebe allowing the Phoenix to completely take over Celeste.
The X-Men battle the Phoenix Force, and after a lengthy battle they were able to free the Cuckoos from the Phoenix.
