Chaning Tatum to play Peter Pan???

#1 Posted by joshmightbe (24462 posts) - - Show Bio

Ok I hope this is just a rumor or a joke but I heard they were doing a Peter Pan origin movie and they cast Tatum to play him, if true I have some questions.
1. Ummm, isn't Peter Pan supposed to be a child? seems to me if you're going to do an origin story about the boy who will never grow up you might want to cast you know a kid.
2. Why does this dude even still get jobs? He's a worse actor than Shaq.
3. How did not one person say this is the dumbest idea since that movie where Arnold S.(not even trying to spell that) got pregnant?

Maybe he will lose his job and wish upon a star to become a kid again and live in a place where he never grows up lol

Haha...way to jump the gun man. You must hate Tatum or something.

"Chatum's role is unclear -- admittedly, if it was a Pan origin story, he probably wouldn't be playing the boy. But then again, with a re-imagined script and canon, things could change quickly. He could also be up for playing Captain Hook, a role Dustin Hoffman played so expertly in the film "Hook". Or, it could be any number of other roles, as well. "

@Vitality: I was just going off what the Ign article said They heavily implied that he was the title character I should know better than assume IGN actually researched a story

Channing Tatum doesn't act. He just shows up in movies.

Nothing can top Hook. Except Hook.

Another question, does Peter Pan really need a gritty reboot?
