These pills fit within the hand of a human being and when dropped it spread as a vapor that infected individuals with a maddening paranoia. Those that inhaled it became a mad raving maniac that turned against one another and was able to create entire crowds into an unreasonable mob that were capable of killing innocents. Dr. Bedlam made use of a Paranoid Pill as part of a cunning plan to capture Mr. Miracle at Chandlers Tower. Whilst Scott Free was at the top of the building, Dr. Bedlam disseminated the paranoia vapor through the ventilation system and turned all the human occupants into a hostile force. As such, Mr. Miracle was trapped in the building with his only way out being through an entire army of unpredictable hostile humans.
