Wedding in Paradise
One of the good things of this series is that there are a lot of events happening at the same time and this in a not competent and crafted hand could turn into a disaster, but Jim Krueger and Alex Ross maintain total control of the plot, making this scenario of multiple characters and stories something to use creativily, definitely something they achieved with hard work, otherwise this would be a boring and misplaced arc story: summing up, they have a lot on their plates, but they deliver! Even if some details get out of hand or become a little boring, the writers managed to keep the plot going in a direction that I really liked: in this conflict of universal, cosmic and eternal beings, and the revelation of multiple alternate realities popping, how can the heroes of Earth be sure that Paradise is located in a secure place or it´s within everyone of them, without they knowing it? It´s kind of a Matrix idea for me (NOTE: this is not a spoiler, it´s only an intepretation of this issue). Another good point in this series - and in this issue it´s the highlight, since the dialogues were a little weak - was the art: simply beautiful and amazing, Doug keep delivering awesome pages with impressive and realistic characterists and details, truly incredible. The constant in this series is the narrative structure - what is very interesting - and (like I said) the dialogues were a little dull, but it was introduced new elements to the plot that can give a new dynamics to this relative slow pace story. Also I would like to point out the outstanding cover by Alex Ross and the background story of Jean Grey (every issue Kyle tells Aaron about the story of a character: last issue was Frank Castle and in issue # 1 about Vance Astrovik).Still highly recommended!
