The Philadelphia unit recoups in Blackheart's castle/mansion. Gulliver and Shadowpax take Ivanhoe back to Scotland to get one of his steeds. Deathboy awakens, and Johnny Venture reveals his devious plan. He has enslaved Deathboy with the implanted bomb..the deadly teen can't use his disintegration power without Johnny pressing a remote control. Otherwise, the bomb will kill Deathboy. Johnny plans on using his new "living weapon" to take out his enemies.

In space, Outrider wins the fight with Dynasty. Severely crippled she attempts to flee back to Earth. She lands in Scotland and just as Outrider plans to administer the killing blow...Ivanhoe hurls the Spear of Destiny at him. Dynasty appears to be alive...but at a tremendous cost.
