When it Began

The Wildebeest Society was a criminal organization before it was taken over by the adventurer called Jericho while he was possessed by a demonic force.

The new Wildebeest Society began genetic alterations with animals and humans to make a suitable host for the true Wildebeest. By altering the humans/animals they experimented on their bodies would become strong enough to withstand the force of the true Wildebeest. All the experiments died except one and that was subject X-24/ Pantha. She managed to free herself and escape but would return to exact her revenge on the people who created her.

Meeting the Titans

Before she could try to exact her creators she met up with and joined a team led by Deathstroke to save the kidnapped Teen Titans from the Wildebeest Society.This battle led Pantha and this team of Titans to the Azarathian dimension where the Wildebeest Society was ultimately destroyed. Pantha returned to our world alongside the Titans and with them the last genetic experiment the Wildebeest Society created Baby Wildebeest. Pantha elected to remain with the Titans for the time being. The Baby Wildebeest also bonded to Pantha as his mother, much to her reluctance.She also began an attraction to a fellow teammate Red Star

Pantha continued her search in her creation but all she found was that Steve Dayton's technology was involved in her creation, other than that she found nothing else. After many dead ends in her search for answers she decided to leave the Titans. When Red Star learned that the group was going to be funded by the US government he decided to also leave. Where Pantha went Baby Wildebeest would follow because of its bond to her. They joined Red Star as a rag-tag dysfunctional family and decided to leave the Titans behind.

Meanwhile, Steve Dayton created an identity as the mysterious Crimelord, plotting against the Titans and Deathstroke. It was revealed that he was going insane due to the prolong use of the Mento Helmet. He was obsessed with experimentation which led to the creation of the Wildebeest's and Pantha, these were the only information the Titans could find out about Pantha's creation.

Red Star, Pantha and Baby Wildebeest later settled in Science City, Russia. They lived their as a indifferent family while serving under the Russian government. And would help the titans if called upon.

When the Superman Prime of Earth Prime ran amok around the worlds Superboy called upon all Titans to help in defeating his enemy. Superboy mistakenly decapitated Pantha and slaughtered Baby Wildebeest before being sucked into the Speed Force. Red Star was left to mourn his only family.
