Born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Arnold and Jacob Pander, are critically acclaimed graphic novelists and award winning filmmakers with a history of work in the popular arts and media. The collaborative sibling duo has created a number of graphic novels and comics for Image, Marvel, Dark Horse, and DC Comics. The brothers’ fashion forward art and cinematic eye first appeared in the break out indie series, Grendel: Devil’s Legacy. Nominated for the Eisner and Manning awards for groundbreaking artwork in the comics medium, the Pander Bros. embarked on a 20 year career in comics, creating a wide range of original comics and graphic novels including; The Dissident (formerly XXX), Secret Broadcast, Accelerate, Batman: City of Light, and more. The Pander Brothers distinct visual style and unique collaborations with some of the industries’ top writers, has solidified them as a major creative force in the graphic novel medium.
