Pan-African Judges appear in the Judge Dredd Megazine story of the same name. Created, scripted and illustrated by Paul Cornell and Siku.

Dozens of Governments control sections of the great continent, under wildly different philosophies and beliefs - capitalism, Islam, lawless enclaves, free trading zones, development areas.

In an effort to ease this evolution, the Pan-African Compromise was reached, allowing free travel and trade between many of these areas, with a Pan-African Judge force created to prevent crimes such as ivory poaching from the animal reserves.

But many of these states do not recognise the authority of these Judges who roam the continent, placing the lawkeepers in constant danger of attack.
