Painkiller Jane is asked to stop a drug lord, Javi Lagarto from taking over a New York City night club called the Noir.  Unfortunately he has a grenade and everything goes wrong.  In the aftermath Painkiller is stuck in the basement with a young woman who is dying.  In an effort to comfort her Painkiller tells the young woman her life story.

A heavy Painkiller 0

Over all I like this book.  It did have some cliche moments and the origin has some questionable moments but over all it is a good book.  With books like this I am concerned about violence and this book had a lit of it.  It wasn't overly graphic but it was consistent.  This would not be a good book for a younger reader.  The book is interesting enough for me to give her another chance but I am not overly thrilled by any means.  I gave the book three-and-a-half stars just above average.  The art ...
