Real name Grom. Lead the interplanetary conquerors known as the Eternals to victory as they enslaved a thousand worlds. But they finally faced defeat when they attacked the enormous world Gigantus. Selecting Grom to be the sole surviver of their race, the Eteranls transfered their mental energies to him, transforming him into the Overmind. He was later defeated by the Fantastic Four. Since then, the many minds that make up Overmnd have begun to fragment, leaving him mentally unstable.
