The key issue in the #114-116 Overmind trilogy is a giant-sized issue #116. This issue is truly a classic. The storyline and art are both quite superior. Seeing Overmind's slave, Reed Richards, forced to fight Sue, while Dr. Doom leads Torch and Thing against the Overmind is awesome indeed! Without a doubt, the Overmind saga and especially issue #116, ranks as one of the FF's best Bronze Age tales. (from Nov 1971) FF #116 has far more stunningly beautiful Sue Storm drawings than any other FF issue prior to the age of lazer comics, at least from this writer's perspective.
