Into the monster´s belly
This is a book for those who enjoy indie and ironic themes, full of mature content and yet laughable and based on mythical creatures. James Stokoe is a very versatile artist (he´s the writer, penciler, inker, colorer and letterer) and his characters represents anger, revenge, power, lust, greed and a myriad of the human spectre of feelings. In the skin of One Eye and his adventures we are carried away with these feelings and end up having lots of fun with interesting dialogues, creative characters (The witch and his pet, the orc warlock/wizards, the orcs of the mountain, the mind control bird, everybody!!), amazing scenarios (it´s all pure fantasy so they demand a greater deal for the artist) and anxiety with the narrative. I´ve never thought orcs could be so interesting and likeable. I really hope that One Eye can scape from the Tzar´s clutches.
