I was trying to be concise. My favourites were the Dinobots, especially Grimlock.

They were awsome, in the original movie the fight between the Dinobots and Devastator was sweet.

I love the idea that they sat around going, yknow this Optimus Prime sure is iconic, what can we do to improve him? I know....give him a lips and a mouth! Horrible.

At first I was looking at the dude's face thinking they look the same. Lips...sheesh. They'll go well with the purple flames.

Blah. Complaining about the flames seems frivilous(sp?) to me. He's still red and blue, he's a still a truck, still has the same head, and he's still Optimus. Who cares about some little flames?

Judging by stuff like this i've seen so far I gather i'll be throwing more hot tamales at the screen than eating them.

Prime getting a flame job reminds me of the Venture Bros. episode where HELPER gets a paint job against his will. Might as well make his horn play la cucaracha too and go all in.

I think the second face is more like the old Optimus. These ones are becoming almost too humanized. Yes, they like to interact with humans, and that's fine. But I think that basing them more off of humans is starting to deviate, and that is a reason that Michael Bay should be scorned. But, having said that, the movie still kicked ass, and I loved it. So it's a love-hate thing. But point is, second one is better because it's more like the Optimus Prime that we all know and love.

Faceplate all the way! It's how he is supposed to look.

I like the second too. I'd also like to say that that was the longest General Motors/US Army recruitment advertisement I've ever seen.

I hate Michael Bay and everything he does. It seems that whatever he touches seems to be based around a paper thin plot and explosions. But of couse the Transformers cartoon was just a marketing ploy to sell the toys, so naturally, now it's being used to sell bigger toys to the same people they marketed to back in the original run.

The second one. But, the movie was awesome, I just didn't like it that they gave prime the lips.
