Karima Shapandar is a human Sentinel. Edit
Origin
At first, Karima was a police woman from India, sent to look after Neal Shaara, who'd gone looking for his brother, who'd gone missing. A bond formed between the two, and as they were about to become lovers, they were attacked by Bastion. Sharra's brother had been turned into a Prime Sentinel, but before Bastion can do it to Sharra and Shapander, Sharra's mutant powers activate and he destroys the building around him. Shapandar then tells Sharra to run, as she is a Prime Sentinel sleeper agent, and that her powers were activated with the manifestation of Sharra's powers. Eventually, Sharra fled.
She was stripped of her Sentinel programming by Magneto and Xavier leaving her human mind intact.
She stayed on Genosha, and worked as a police officer, but probably left with everyone else after the Decimation.
The X-Men later found Shapander in a Fordyce la, along with Lady Mastermind. She had been disassembled, but Beast reassembles her, and she joins Rogue's X-Men team, and helped fight the Children of the Vault.
When Rogue was kidnapped by Pandemic, Shapander was able to lead the team after her, by fusing her Sentinel tech with that of the portal. She later battled Pandemic himself along with Iceman and Lady Mastermind, but he was later defeated by Sabretooth.
After the Hetacomb attacked the team retreted to an old Mansion of Mystique's. While trying to perform updates on a laptop, Shapander was possesed by Malice, now a digital entity.
She remained possesed by Malice throughout Messiah Complex, but in the final battle, Pixie stabbed her with her souldagger, which purged Malice out of Shapander's body.
Shapander still remains with the Acolytes, as they have taken Professor X, and she is there for him as he was there for her. She has no memories of the events that happened while she was possesed by Malice, and some of her tech has been infected.
When Exodus summoned the depowered Magneto to help revive Charles, Karima watched over. Magneto called her out of the shadows, and the two talked. Magneto then devised a way that the two of them could revive Professor X. After they do this, Frenzy busts in, ready to kill Magneto because he is now human. Karima fights her for a moment until Magneto stops her. After Professor X has a breif battle with Exodus, Karima leaves the Acolytes base with the Professor and Magneto.
Powers
She has enhanced strength and resistance, a healing factor and great senses and agility, making her a great battle combatant.
She has a multitude of implants making her a cyborg. Among the things she's equipped with are Sentinel-like energy guns allowing her to manipulate energy on a sub-atomic scale, jet booster allowing flight and various radar and scanning devices. She can also project holographic images and has a great resistance to electrical signals.
