O.M.A.C. - Gouge Me Eye with a Dull Spoon
I think I just threw up a little in my mouth after reading this comic book. The first few comics in this series were not bad and I was interested enough to see where we would be led as readers. After this latest disaster, however, I am wondering if the titles writer is just trying to see how bad a comic he can drum up as he waits for his cancellation! Honestly, this story had to be written with all the care of a 4 year old handling a Faberge Egg.
The Good
What could this book possibly have as any kind of positive component? Maybe the fact that it will be all over in less than a month or that the writer's made it especially easy for me to decide where and how to save my money next month?
The Bad
Everything else. O.M.A.C. being described as stronger than Superman, an alien capable of punching holes in O.M.A.C.s chest. Talking animals with names like Tuffy, and Stripesy. A mad scientist ape. The biggest thing O.M.A.C. has been lacking are details. The what's and the why's are getting left out so that O.M.A.C. can get back to smashing. He's like DC's Hulk without the depth of character.
.5/5 stars. I would give it 0 if I could.
