    One Moron's Atrocious Creation #4

Art - The lines in this book are inconsistent and ugly. The colors are decent enough... probably better than average, but the line art is so bad that even if it were above average the lines detract so much they look bland. And the panel layout... they are just barely passable.

Story - This issue is something different than the last 3 issues. Kevin gets home via teleportation...why he was walking around the country before hand who know... and then he goes to work and yelled at and then he goes home, deciding to take the subway finding that it blocks Brother I from tracking him. Speaking of. It's Brother "I" not EYE. It's never been EYE. EYE is a pun and using it as much as this comic uses it is annoying. Anyways, we fall into the cliche of finally getting free only to find that there is danger so Kevin runs back for help from Brother I. This issue, just like the previous issues is a cliched piece of dreck.

Characterization - There is none. Brother I by definition hasn't go one and Kevin's only trait is that he doesn't like being messed with by Brother I.

Recommendation - Don't buy this. It's not worth the paper it's printed on.

Side Note - Didio is really getting under my skin with this book. OMAC is just Hulk in a different skin. The titles for his issues are not creative and also most time make no sense. His love of marvel and his shallow personality really shows through with the credits. Giving every person a noms de guerre is a thing that Stan Lee did because it adds character to the staff, how ever when you do it and don't understand how or why you're doing it you get sludge like "Killer Croc" Keith Giffen or "4g" Hi-Fi. I wish the people in charge would fire this guy already because it is clear he hasn't a creative bone in his body nor does he know what makes comics good.

this series will likely be one of the first of the new 52 to go, which is really too bad.  It doesn't have any real name recognition that some of the other worse series might have or the popular characters, but it does succeed in telling a fun enough story.  The problem is though that the story is not really enough as it never really escapes from the realm of fun into something better.  Here it is the same basic thing.  Kevin is finally back home after his small journey to deal with Brother Eye'...

The Good: The cover is definitely the best so far. The perspective is very nice, with Kevin Kho bolting for the only empty space on the cover, being chased by weird gators while O.M.A.C. towers over him. The space he's heading for just happens to be a circle in the very center of the cover. It draws your eyes right to the center, then in a unique spiral outwards. After all the on-the-run chaos of the first three issues, it's nice to see things settle down a bit, and start to build an actual stat...
