    Dan Didio and Keith GIffen go retro in their relaunch of O.M.A.C., replicating as much of Jack Kirby's style as they possible can. That, however, does not automatically make it good, and the duo unfortunately focus more on copying Kirby than delivering a good first issue.  It is hard to describe what happens in this issue, because it jumps right into the middle of the action and leaves me immediately lost.     I must say that I do in certain ways like this comic and I can see some potential in it, but at the same time it is a mostly average book.  It is not so much the writing, as the concept, and the concept is not even that flawed, just it seems to be too much of a stretch at times.  Granted there is a strong connection between the name O.M.A.C. and the Brother Eye but here it is not only the Infinite Crisis connection but a bit also of the Kirby influence.  That having being said it is paying a bit...

    Is it Synchronicity or me being mean that I am reviewing Dan Didio's O.M.A.C. as my 666 review? I just wanted to point this out. I lost track of the numbers and I originally wanted to review Batman 666, but whattheheck someone needs the 666 homage and might as well be the greedy Devil who claimed the Vertigo characters to do this revamp in the first place.Okay, rant done and time for the review.
