Olympian Gods

Olympian Gods is a comic book team that first appeared in Journey Into Mystery Annual #1

Marvel version of the Gods of Mt. Olympus, ruled by Zeus.

The typical attributes of Olympian Gods include superhuman strength, invulnerability, and functional immortality. They are usually immune to human diseases.

The source of the Olympian Gods' immortality is their practice of eating ambrosia and drinking nectar made from the apples of immortality.

The gods of Olympus are a species of superhumanly powerful beings who were worshipped by the Greeks and Romans. They live on Olympus. They were named different names by different cultures who worshipped them. The olympians don't look for worshippers like they used to on Earth.  They normally stay on Olympus, excluding Hercules and Venus, who stay on Earth. It is said that Gaea made the gods, but their history is covered in blackness. They could have been born on Earth, or another dimension. It is said that Gaea slept with Ouranos and had the first generation of the Olympian race which were called the titans. Cronus, the most powerfull titan, wounded Ouranos and took control. Right before dying Ouranos said Cronus will die by  the hands of one of his own children. Cronus  worried each time he had a child so he imprisoned them in Tartarus, also known as Hades. Angry at him for doing this his wife Rhea hide the pregnancy of her sixth son and gave birth to Zeus in Greece. Zeus grew up with humans in Crete. Zeus went to Tartarus and freed his other siblings Neptune, Pluto, Hera,
