The typical attributes of Olympian Gods include superhuman strength and levels, invulnerability, and functional immortality. They are usually immune to human diseases.
The source of the Olympian Gods' immortality is their practice of eating ambrosia and drinking nectar made from the apples of immortality.
The gods of Olympus are a species of superhumanly powerfull beings who were worshipped by the greeks and romans. They live on Olympus. They were named different names by different cultures who worshipped them. The olympians dont look for worshippers like they use to on earth they normally stay on Olympus excluding Hercules and Venus, who stay on earth. It is said that Gaea made the gods, but their history is covered in blackness. They could of been born on earth, or another dimension. It is said that Gaea sleeped with Ouranos and had the first generation of the Olympian race which were called the titans. Cronus the most powerfull titan wounded Ouranos and took control. Right before dying Ouranos said Cronus will die byt eh hands of one of his own children. Cronus worried each time he had a child he improsined them in Tartarus, also known as Hades. Angry at him for doing this his wife Rhea hide the pregnancy of her sixth son and gave birth to zues in Greece. Zues grew up with humans in Crete. zues went to Tartarus and freed his other siblings Neptune, Pluto, Hera, Demeter, and Vesta. Zeus and his allies staged war with the titans which lasted ten years. In the end Zeus won. He improsined the Titans in Tartarus and said he was the top ruler of the Olympian race. After Zeus married Hera, while they were together he had many other women goddesses and humans. Some of his children were gods and others were human. The Olympians then created a high council including Zeus, Hera, Neptune, Vesta, Demeter and also with Zeus children Apollo, Ares, Artemis, Athena, Hephaestus, Hermes and Venus. Pluto was not a member of the high council wanting and spending his time in Hades. The gods then wanted to have worshippers and searched for them on Earth. Mount Olympus is near the main city of the Eternals Olympia. Zeus and Athena met Zuras and Azura. They found out that they looked alot like each other and made a pact in which the Eternals would act as the Olympian gods, while they stay in Olympus. The humans started to think that the Eternals were the real gods themselves. The Olympian gods didnt like this and started a war between them and the Eternals. Now the war is over and their back at peace. When Christianity came the gods retreated and stop lookign for worshippers.
