    Hi, Does anyone remember the old thor issue where dormmamu battled odin in Valhalla with thor perceiving the battle as chess?  thanks.

    @ebuchanan:  By the way Marvel rates the 2, i just don't see it. Mephisto could easily destroy any asgardian god (he has humiliated Thor countless times) and Dormmamu is said to be in the same leage as the demon, so...

    you will never get it, they will play with your mind to keep you guessing how, and why there characters beat eachother some times and other times its the other way around. i know odin is more powerful than thor. the demons may be in the same league but their resistances and weaknesses are most likely different!

    This is a joke right? Thor defeated Mephisto twice. Once he battled through all of Mephisto's legions and took him out, and then another time while inside Loki's body. mephisto does not have a good track record against Thor.
