Beyond the inner planets lie the gaseous giants, Jupiter being the largest of all. Orbiting Jupiter is the moon Europa, a hard orb floating in frigid space. Lying beneath Europa's half-mile-thick mantle of shear ice is an ocean, the only one in the solar system that’s not on Earth. And within those cold waters could rest the key to life on Earth — and quite possibly its extinction!

What a great series this was, a marvelous sci-fi tale, written by Warren Ellis, drawn by Chris Sprouse and inked by Karl Story. Reading this book felted like I was at the theater, really did put me in the scenario of a movie, and it´s great material for a blockbuster (with Samuel L. Jackson as main character Nathan Kane). The story revolves on a distant future, far evolved than ours, in the orbit of Europa, one of Jupiter's satellite, where a cop of the UN, specialized in weaponry, is called by ...
