    Obscura swiftly became a close ally to the young transgender man Pado Swakatoon. While the other people in Pado's life had the best of intentions, they didn't understand Pado wished for men's clothing, to be referred to with male pronouns. Despite the stress in her life, despite literally being manipulated by super villains, Obscura understood all this and fought for Pado's rights to self-expression.
