Ch. 1 cliffhanger ending - A Rhinopony uses it's horn to bump Nyoka up into the air. She goes over a cliff, but manages to grab onto the cliff's edge. This is quite literally a cliffhanger ending, as Nyoka looks down at a pool of boiling chemicals, while she hangs on for dear life.
Ch. 2 cliffhanger ending - Two vultures grab old of Nyoka and lift her high into the air.
